Lichtenberg-Kolleg offers a sophisticated programme of instruction with eight different levels:
Grundstufe (Basic) I-III, Mittelstufe (Intermediate) I-III, Oberstufe (Advanced) I and II. At the end of each level, we offer examinations and issue certificates in language proficiency which are recognised as proof of aptitude in the German language: Grundstufenprüfung (Europe Level B1) and Mittelstufenprüfung (Europe Level B2 + C1). These exams are also open to candidates not enrolled in the school.

Instruction is provided in both colloquial and specialised German, the latter including areas such as Commerce, Law, Science, Engineering, and Tourism. In addition to this, we offer special courses aimed at preparing students for the DSH, the Kleines and Großes Sprachdiplom examinations administered by the universities and Goethe Institutes.

We also offer courses preparing students for the IHK (Chamber of Commerce) examinations for foreign language secretaries, translators and interpreters.
